 The Haliburton County Studio Tour is now accepting applications for artists and crafts people to join Ontario’s premier studio tour.  With thousands of visitors each fall, this is an oportunity to showcase your work to a diverse and very loyal market.

Christmas Show and Sale at Singing Dog Studio

On Saturday November 27 and Sunday November 28 from 11am to 4pm You can get some of your Christmas shopping done at Singing Dog Studio on County rd. 1.  Thom Lambert is currently president of the Haliburton County Studio Tour and one of the faculty members at the Haliburton School of the Arts.

Thom produces both functional and decorative pottery.  Many of his more sculptural pieces are designed as wall mounted art-work that push the normal perceptions of what pottery can be.

Welcome to the Haliburton County Studio Tour Blog

 In 2011 we will be working hard to maintain our position as Ontario’s premier studio tour. To do this we will be posting articles on our artists and any new directions that they may be taking. We will keep you up to date on shows that any of our artists will be taking part in. We will also be showcasing the techniques and work of each of our artists in a series of articles entitled “The Hands of the Artist.”
